In Destiny's Arena, 500 worlds compete for the right to control their own fate, while the winning world enslaves the other 499 and strips them of their resources. The ancient Accelerons created a prophecy promising freedom through a champion who will restore the right to race and ride. The Emerald King's brother sends his prophetic son to Earth, where a hippie man and his Cherokee wife raise him in secret. At 21, the young man builds a suit that defies physics and makes him nearly invincible. After the Emerald King's daughter becomes queen, she sends her lifelong friend and greatest bounty hunter, Lady Sapphire, to capture him. Their chase crosses Earth's greatest wonders before she finally brings him home to Destiny's Arena.
