In a fantasy world, humanity is at war with four-story giants. To survive, people built golems, giant mechanized suits shaped like armored knights. Arc, a young man who dreams of piloting one, can never pass the written exam. In secret, he raids golem scrap yards for parts to rebuild Excalibur, a sword-class golem lost during the last attack on the capital.
