Chris, a teenage boy who can enter other people’s dreams only while asleep, begins as a secret guide through nightmares. His body remains asleep in bed while his mind crosses over. After helping his best friend Emil, Chris faces a moral fall when he misuses the power to enter Jazmine’s dreams, knowing she likes Emil instead of him. The series uses four 15-second scenes per minute, with 2D anime visuals, clean cel shading, expressive eyes, and dream worlds that are darker, hazier, and unreal compared with waking life. Episode 1, “The First Crossing,” follows Chris discovering the power while helping Emil, then denying it happened.
