A dungeon anime set in a city built around colossal towers. Humans and many species delve into the towers to rescue trapped, weakened gods. Each floor cleared restores part of a deity’s mythological pantheon. The major towers belong to the Greek, Hindu, Norse, Egyptian, Aztec, and another ancient pantheon with similar lore. Choosing a tower grants an adventurer that pantheon’s status and powers, while other pantheon towers weaken outsiders. Adventurers begin at level 1-0 and can advance to level 999 when their average Strength, Endurance, Agility, Dexterity, and Magic reaches 550. Stats improve slowly through use and somewhat faster in dungeons. Leveling grants a cumulative 1,000-point boost to every stat with at least one point, while unused stats gain nothing. Rescued gods cannot enter dungeons or directly empower adventurers inside them, but can interact with them on a small scale and grant new boons based on their identity. Each rescued god may secretly choose one living champion who represents the god’s ideals or purpose and acts as a limited proxy. The champion cannot be transferred unless they die, but the gods conceal that condition from mortals. Choosing a champion is a major decision for a god. The gods need adventurers to restore their pantheons, so they have reason to help. More powerful and legendary gods are found deeper in the towers, with their locations made meaningfully apparent but their rescues extremely difficult. Every floor contains at least one or two gods, including minor gods hidden throughout the environment. Finding those hidden gods is difficult but possible, and no one knows where they are until adventurers discover them.
