Buck comes from a village in a fantasy kingdom known for forging armor and magical armor for dragons. His human mother was carrying him and his human half brother when an orc raiding party attacked, leaving Buck secretly half-orc. His father never knew the truth and treated him cruelly, even tearing out one lower fang when Buck was a teenager. Before he could tear out the other, the raiders returned, killed Buck’s family, and broke the remaining fang halfway off. Hidden behind his lips, it is his only visible sign of his heritage. Buck escaped alone and was found by a loving traveling merchant who raised him, taught him to survive on the road, and gave him a home. Now Buck is armed only with a blacksmith hammer, wears a single metal gauntlet as his only armor, and is naturally gifted at fighting. Untapped magical potential lies within him.
