Anthony Casper, Art for short, is a dorky student and descendant of hunters. Art, Jimmy, and online gamer Anthony are the same person, different sides of him. He battles the undead and everything that goes bump in the night, handling each supernatural horror through his three roles: awkward, glasses-wearing Art; fearless, ruthless Jimmy; and online gamer Anthony, the identity connecting them all. The government once opened a door searching for treasure, only to discover it was a gateway to hell. Art is a hunter whose job is to keep each door closed. Finding the next door takes time because he must juggle school, gaming, and other parts of his cover. Once he finds and locks another gate, he starts over in a new city and identity. The story is quiet, weird, and eerie, set around stormy Fort Bragg, California.
