Twenty years ago, the government betrayed and slaughtered the Oni Guardians, an ancient order protecting humanity from creatures crossing over from the Spirit Realm. Tanemahuta Da La Cruz, the sole surviving child, was raised in violence, gangs, underground fighting, and distrust. Now a feared underground operative known as OMI, he wears a black leather jacket, long dreadlocks, tactical pants, black Vans, and an ancient oni mask. He carries an AK-style rifle and a karambit, but the mask holds his most dangerous power. Each time he puts it on, something inside him awakens, remembering who killed his family.
