Queen Chimera rules her realm firmly and fairly, demanding that any man who wants the throne defeat her in combat or survive a full match against her. Marcus Boltman, a former mixed martial artist, husband, and father of three, nearly defeats the giant queen and lasts the entire match, earning her awe and fascination. When Chimera learns Marcus is married to Simone and has a sixteen-year-old daughter, Phoenix, plus twin boys, Chris and Kelly, she releases him rather than take him by force. Disguised alongside her loyal sorceress, she travels to Earth to observe Marcus’s family and discovers Simone is unfaithful, while Chris and Kelly may not be Marcus’s biological children. Marcus must decide whether to leave his increasingly demanding wife or stay for the children, while Chimera refuses to give up on him.
