A spy and a fox

Bits, a four-legged fox pilot who makes only cute fox noises, dogfights in an A6M2-N after Uganda Empire bombers firebomb an Ethiopian Union city. She shoots down the fleet, bails out beneath a massive 200-foot dark red and white striped parachute, lands softly, and nearly gets captured by passing motorized troops. Gunfire from behind a bush forces the soldiers to retreat. Bits’s owner and best friend, the tall British spy and mercenary Chad, finds her tangled in the parachute, carries her on his shoulder, and walks away with her as the battle burns behind them.
