Afterlight

In a zombie apocalypse, two survivors navigate a devastated city. John, a 33-year-old white cop trained in hand-to-hand combat and firearms, relies on sharp survival instincts but forgets he is more than a normal person. His companions are Jax, his husky, and Chibi, his kitten. Dee, a beautiful Black former artist and child therapist, brings calm judgment, strong survival instincts, and emergency medical skill. Her gentle voice can command a crisis without losing its steadiness.
