ALMOST US

A grounded, cinematic romance about Angel, a 25-year-old school maintenance worker, and Martina, a 22-year-old McDonald’s employee and devoted Jehovah’s Witness. Their brief, ordinary conversations grow into genuine affection, but Martina’s faith prevents them from pursuing a romantic relationship. Neither is a villain. Their story explores tenderness, emotional conflict, fleeting happiness, and the heartbreak of loving someone you cannot fully be with.
