For centuries, the continent of Elyndra has been divided between two superpowers. The Solarian Empire rules the western lands—a wealthy human empire built on military discipline, advanced magic, and the belief that humanity must unite the continent under one banner. Across the mountains stands the Kingdom of Veyr, a nation where humans, beastfolk, elves, demons, and other races live together. Veyr believes no single race or kingdom should control Elyndra. Between them lies the Shattered Lands, the remains of kingdoms destroyed during centuries of war. Now, after twenty years of uneasy peace, another war is beginning. And two brothers will stand at its center.
