CARBON REIGN

In the year 2153, humanity survives on Eden-V, a world powered by Neuma, a mysterious energy woven into technology, biology, and human evolution. Eighteen-year-old Malcolm McQueen grew up in Sector Five of Cenith Prime, far from the wealth and power of the Upper Sectors. He joins the Vanguard Guild hoping to become a professional Wielder, earn enough to support his family, and build a life beyond the limits he was born into. But Malcolm’s first real field assignment throws him into humanity’s brutal war against the Siphons, creatures capable of consuming Neuma itself. As he trains, travels, forms bonds with other young Wielders, and takes on increasingly dangerous missions, Malcolm begins to discover that his connection to Neuma is unlike anything the world understands, and that powerful people may already know why.
