A realistic, brutal grimdark dieselpunk war unfolds in massive underground industrial complexes and bunkers beneath a surface poisoned by radioactive gas and ruins. Three major factions wage an endless war with heavy infantry and disk-shaped military mechs built like modern tanks: Evergreen, a forest-themed socialist faction with green armor and mechs; Reign, a brutal dystopian communist society with black-and-white German-themed armor and mechs; and S.C.A.P., the Sovereign Colonies of Armed Powers, a wealthy cybernetic faction of greys and pale blues whose abusive upper class conscripts poor families and fields lighter mechs. A hidden faction of scavengers in brown camouflage survives by using gear salvaged from all three sides. Everyone wears armor, masks, and helmets, so no faces are visible. The story follows an Evergreen soldier through the poisoned industrial war.
