Detroit Deadbeats

Aliya and Treyvone are unemployed best friends and reluctant partners living in a broken-down house owned by Treyvone’s mother in a dilapidated Detroit neighborhood. Their days blur through smoking, partying, and scraping by, while nighttime gambling pulls them into riskier choices as they try to escape the neighborhood together.
