Echos of our lives

In an afterlife plane, one eternal soul is repeatedly reincarnated into different human lives to become less ignorant and more understanding. Souls are generally kind there, but forget their spiritual nature during each life. After death, they relive the pain and goodness they caused others in a soul review, then may choose another life to repair unfinished harm. Each return hides its purpose until the soul’s choices reveal what they still need to learn.
