Empire of the Black Eclipse

A ruthless adult survivor returns seven years before the apocalypse, enrolling at Vhalor Academy while rebuilding the Black Eclipse, a hidden empire of spies, assassins, soldiers, mages, politicians, businesses, and criminal networks. Bane Veyr possesses the Black Eclipse Ascension System, which has no growth, stat, skill, or evolution limit, and makes every gain permanent. Sovereign Authority measures only restored former power: after 100%, it becomes Unbound and continues growing without limits. Bane begins with Foreshadow, basic Sovereign Aura, and Eclipse Extraction. He can later unlock Blackstep, Crownfall Dominion, Sovereign Edict, Blood Purification, and Eclipse Veil through combat, training, quests, conquest, and empire-building. His two adult bonded bodyguards and exclusive partners, illusionist assassin Ximena “Locke” Vega and close-combat commander Nayeli “Blade” Serrano, are fiercely loyal, protective, and central to his family code. Chapter 1 opens in the burning final battle, follows Bane’s return and first shadow soldier, introduces Locke and Blade separately at the academy, and ends with Bane confronting Cassian Rook, the Fifth Division intelligence soldier whose envy and alliance with Bane’s enemies helped create the rival empire that destroyed the world. There is no Eclipse Core in this story.
