Guardians of Maldonnia

In Maldonnia, the vicious lizard demon Zarkan rules through fear. An ancient prophecy says a Glemporian will destroy him, so Zarkan murdered every Glemporian older than thirteen in the Great Culling. Only a small enclave of Glemporian females, the Goonmei, survived to raise the younglings and serve as breeding stock. Seventy-five years later, young Glemporian Wrenji discovers the ancient prophecy tablets by accident while mining with his best friend Arudah, daughter of his father’s closest friend, Artemis. Everyone who once knew the prophecy was believed lost, but the tablets may reveal that Zarkan’s efforts failed.
