Lost in the darkness: the world of the unknown

Levaion, a recent high-school graduate, is sent into space by his parents aboard a custom shuttle. After 2,000 years in frozen sleep, he wakes as the last human alive, discovering Earth was destroyed by nuclear devastation and reclaimed by unfamiliar, anthropomorphic life.
