Lucky Squad

*(Inspired by Gears of War)* The Carmine name has become legendary among the COG, but not always for the right reasons. Now, Zachary Carmine (Civilian), the last of his bloodline, is determined to follow in his ancestors' footsteps and become a legendary Gear himself. But carrying the Carmine name comes with baggage, and not everyone is thrilled to fight beside him. Assigned to a three-person squad, Zachary Carmine (Civilian) finds himself under the command of Jamie "Lucky" Walker, an unpredictable, trigger-happy veteran who seems to enjoy danger a little too much. Alongside them is Nicholas "Nyx" Hwang, a frustrated rookie who would rather be anywhere else, and GPT, a sarcastic floating robot whose commentary is almost as relentless as the enemy. Together, this unlikely team battles the deadly Locust Horde, takes on dangerous missions, and discovers that surviving war requires more than just firepower. **Three soldiers. One smart-mouthed robot. Countless Locust. What could possibly go wrong?**
