REALITY OPTIONAL
An original sci-fi adventure anime following Dr. Ethan Cole and Dr. Claire Blake, two brilliant scientists in their early-to-mid 30s and best friends since college. Together, they invent synchronized wrist devices that let them travel between parallel universes. Each universe has its own laws of physics, biology, and reality, automatically adapting their bodies when they arrive. They may gain supernatural abilities, transform into different humanoid species, develop extraordinary physical traits, or experience realities impossible on Earth. Every universe has an unpredictable time limit, from minutes to years or longer. They can return home voluntarily only when they both agree, but when their synchronization window expires, they are transported back to Earth together. Each adventure brings a new universe with unique civilizations, mysteries, dangers, humor, transformations, and emotional stakes. Sometimes they desperately want to escape; other times, one becomes attached to a new existence and refuses to leave. Science fiction, fantasy, mystery, comedy, emotional storytelling, and spectacular anime transformations surround the enduring friendship at the story’s heart.
