Red Dawn

During World War II, a German woman hiding her Jewish husband is imprisoned and beaten to death. In a relic room, a telepathic handleless blade offers power to rescue him, demanding the blood of the guilty. She accepts just before execution, merging with the blade and rising in a monstrous body built for violence.
