Stalwart Dawn

A pair of mech pilots in Australia’s Kaiju Defense Union survive kaiju attacks while piloting Stalwart Dawn, a two-person mech requiring perfect synchronization. Mara Beckett and Johnny Ramirez trained together from age eighteen, share a restrained crush, and rely on Daisy, Stalwart Dawn’s callous onboard AI, for combat guidance and kaiju detection. Kaiju are ranked from Class 1 to Class 6 by power.
