In a future space society, Silvo signs up online for a job with the Black Turtles, an all-women military force, and becomes its commander. Its soldiers endure dangerous cybernetic surgeries with only a 50% success rate, while four rival women’s armies are controlled by male commanders and boards that treat them as tools. Silvo begins in ordinary civilian clothes before receiving his army uniform, then insists the enhanced women are human, alongside Silvan, a super-tall, powerful captain who embodies the army’s strength and exploitation.
