The Cartoonist’s Lullaby

Noctis Vale is an ascetic, gothic boy who dreams of becoming a cartoonist. His scary-but-cute creations draw endless bullying, so he records every tormentor in his notebook. When monsters and demons pour through a strange manhwa-like rupture, Noctis is cornered and terrified. He calls a deeply researched female monster creation into life, a button-eyed, spider-limbed yōkai-inspired false mother with a tender instinct to protect him and dangerous power when provoked, and she answers to him.
