THE KILL ZONE In a future where the rich buy blood as entertainment, Helix Entertainment drops debtors and rejects into live arenas called Zones. Survivors get clothes, a collar, and a short head start. Killers — ranked on-air talent — hunt them, and each other. There are two ways out of a stage: solve your way to a Safe Gate the killers cannot cross, or wipe every killer in the Zone. Supply drops are rare and never enough. Clear seven stages and Helix lets you walk. Almost nobody does. The Stacks watch. The Upper Box bets. The cameras never blink. Cast includes idol Reina, sprinter Ivy, rocker Luna who is not as tough as she talks, heiress Nora, and street kid Jazz. Across from them: Ripper, a 19-year-old knife showman who cuts other killers first; Widow Coil; Howl-in-Iron; Sister Hemlock; Vespera; and the Ringmaster of the Carnival Lot.
