The Legend of El Rey

Rey seems like an ordinary, quiet, intelligent kid, known at school for his curly hair, glasses, backpack, and books. But when he removes his glasses and steps into the boxing ring, he becomes El Rey, a confident, fearless, disciplined fighter in red gloves and black-and-red trunks marked with a golden crown. Balancing school, friendships, family, training, rivals, victories, defeats, and growing up, Rey must discover that the courage he finds in the ring has always been inside him.
