The Shadow Shield

In a kingdom where sixteen-year-olds awaken colored swords tied to their magic, Ruby-ranked dark mage Zack is blamed for the king’s assassination and forced into the wild. Hunted by his newly Ruby-ranked ice-mage younger brother Luke and their former friends, Zack battles monsters while the demon kingdom advances. The king’s daughter, now queen and Zack’s childhood friend, knows he is innocent but cannot sway the politicians. Zack must save the kingdom, clear his name, and ultimately sacrifice himself to protect Luke.
