Were-town

An author moves to a small town to escape the city and get closer to nature, unaware that werebeasts secretly populate the town. A nearby ranch holds a herd of werehorses without a stallion, while a dairy farm's werecows need a bull. Other werebeasts live nearby. During the full moon, werebeasts are forced into animal form and forget what they do there; outside it, they can transform voluntarily. In animal form, three instincts drive them: feed, defend, and infect.
