Elaria is a vast fantasy world of kingdoms, diverse peoples, adventurer guilds, monsters, ancient ruins, tournaments, and unexplored wilderness. Most people wield an Art, a supernatural ability shaped by training, talent, and combat style. Long ago, seven Great Primordials devastated the ancient world before vanishing. Modern history calls them monsters, but surviving ruins suggest the war’s truth was erased and someone may be trying to resurrect them. Rare Primalborn carry a Primordial’s essence, mistaking its power for an Art until a dangerous Primal Awakening begins. Ryuu Arashi, an eighteen-year-old Flame Knight with a greatsword and his wolf-like companion Cinderfang, arrives in Asteria dreaming of adventure. He believes his crimson Infernal Fire is an Art, unaware he carries Ignivar, the Primordial of inferno, destruction, rage, and rebirth. His home was destroyed years ago, his family vanished, and his first Awakening may have caused it. Around Ryuu gather Reina Kisaragi, a Moonblade and secret Primalborn carrying Tsukiyra; Kaito Renji, his fearless Striker friend; Yumi Hoshina, an Arcane Weaver investigating altered history; and Daichi Kazama, the Oni Guild Master who recognizes Ryuu’s nature and knew his family. They face Seijuro Veyron and the Black Covenant, who hunt Primalborn to prevent another Primordial War. Their journey across Elaria uncovers the connection between the Primordials, Primalborn, Cinderfang, Ryuu’s birth, his lost past, and a conspiracy older than any living kingdom.
