They plan to become rulers of this strange world while facing adversity at every turn. All humans and animals are scaled to exactly 1.39% of their original size, with weight proportioned to match. Insects are crustaceous, retain their full original size, and remain dangerous; flora and the broader prehistoric environment remain naturally scaled. Dinosaurs grow only eight to ten inches tall, making the Stone Age world unmistakably unlike Earth's past. Amira is unsure whether she has traveled through time or into a parallel universe, but the latter seems more likely.
