Sergio, a young swordsman and secret necromancer, leaves his small village to build a life shaped by blades and magic. A necromancer teacher has taught him many spells, and Sergio carries a book to deepen his knowledge as he builds an undead army. He reaches a new village, secretly raises several dead in its graveyard at night, hides them in the forest by day, and takes quests to earn money. As graves are discovered empty and his army grows, grieving villagers hunt for the robber. When Sergio is caught raising the dead, he must talk his way free or destroy the village and continue his rise.
